What she did: Threw a one-hitter, striking out nine, in a 1-0 win over then-No. 6 Lee-Davis. Followed with a five-hit shutout of then-No. 10 Mills Godwin as the Lancers prevailed 2-0.

Describes herself as: "Athletic, outgoing, weird."
Strengths: "Keeping batters off balance. Keeping them guessing."
I'm working on: "My endurance and just the mental aspects of the game."
Best sports memory: "Winning the district last year. That was awesome."
Favorite food: "My Nana's [Skinner's grandmother] macaroni and cheese."
Most wants to: "Finish up high school strong and hopefully play in college."
Persons she admires most: "My family in general, and especially my Papa Cash [Skinner's grandfather]. He's someone you want to grow up to be like."
